My Story in Color

From a young age, my passion for sci-fi media fueled my love for creating props out of anything I could find, often with cardboard and tape as a child.

My nan, a tailor specializing in wedding dresses, taught me valuable sewing skills that have stayed with me.

I pursued studies in product design and engineering, followed by public services and forensic science.

Despite working in procurement and law, I never felt fulfilled.

This led me to transform my hobby of costume and prop making into a side role, then part-time, and eventually my full-time career in an industry I am passionate about.

My expertise includes molding and casting with various materials like polyurethane (in varying shore hardness), silicone, and resin.

With basic knowledge in CAD modeling, I’ve designed and crafted items such as costume armor, sword hilts, full swords, glass holders, and creature creation faces and feet.

Often requiring varying skills for individual aspects to create the full costume, creature, or items under the umbrella of “a prop”.

Working with my dad, a builder, during my teenage years equipped me with skills in carpentry, plastering, rendering, and general DIY.

These abilities have been invaluable in both large and small prop-making projects, enhancing my versatility and craftsmanship.
